The man was a short order cook when he was 'elevated' to warden of the union, along with the other two of the unholy trinity - the unspeakable O'Shane as chancellor and Moses as VC. It was at this point that I severed my association in any way shape or form with UNE, and I must confess, they have since then ceased to ask me for money for various stupid and useless reasons. At about the same time, the totally noxious Turkish experiment was in train. Torbay is a total piece of work (thanks Alex). Mind you, the UNE printery was the last resort of the otherwise unable to work sheltered workshop that UNE became; (I can't work because of my bad back, but I can play competitive golf three times/week).

I edited Anon's comment very slightly before reposting for reasons I outlined in an earlier comment. I will reply to all comments after I have posted an extension of the post itself. If all it takes to get a member to resign is to dig up contact with someone corrupt, we won't have many pollies left.

Impossible to say what is the case in this situation until the evidence is seen (if ever).

And some public education about how Royal Commissions operate wouldn't hurt either.Evanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13355215688351759230noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24338064.post-10355272477326674312013-03-21T07:03:30.954+11:002013-03-21T07:03:30.954+11:00Thanks, Alex.

This is an open comment blog, but it is also a public platform, so that makes me liable as well as you. I may need to delete a couple of words without affecting your message.

I am working on site this morning, but will comment properly on all this tonight. He chose to do nothing.

There is nothing stable about UNE at present.

Richard and Jim Barber, UNE CEO & VC are thick as thieves. So much so that when Chris Conroy denied Richard the chance to share the podium at a UNE supported NBN presentation Barber chose not to be present in protest.

Richard has surrounded himself with people who are in the "favour" game. Though taking on Windsor of late may have been unfortunate, he certainly did more for the Northern Tablelands than his predecessor Stuart St Clare. He will be missed and it seems that now there might be a cloud around his achievements into the future.

I wonder what the details were though at the same time I don't really want to know.

Rodhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10962789743908134314noreply@blogger.com
