The only connection between poetry and politics lies in the letter p! It's all very NSW PS!

There have actually been protests around NSW about the impact of the change. My feeling is that we will get joint naming. And then we wouldn't have a problem. Beautiful "Bells Line of Road" will become M9 (or some number) as will many other old established roads with intriguing - or simply sensible - names. Politicians - no poetry at all....JeanJFPhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06228510400519581089noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24338064.post-23602102685694164782012-12-15T17:42:38.414+11:002012-12-15T17:42:38.414+11:00How very interesting! How very interesting!Jim Belshawhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10075614280789984767noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24338064.post-38166079674870007462012-12-15T12:44:25.149+11:002012-12-15T12:44:25.149+11:00Jim

It's interesting, too, in terms of patterns - the link down Bell's line of road.

I have two very different posts to go in the Richmond Rambles series, and then I want to go back to higher education. There is so much to write about at present, some truly interesting stuff, that I have just too much choice! I remember it well, and I guess it was one small advantage of being 'the Major's son' at Marangaroo just outside Lithgow to have this annual invite.

(Marangaroo btw is an aboriginal term for 'wonderful place for kids to explore while growing up')

Anyway, thanks for provoking the memories, and for some great pictures on the way through.

kvdAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
