CQU staff accept teaching scholar positions

In Sunday Essay - a bad new ERA for Australia's universities,  I discussed ERA, Excellence in Research for Australia. I wasn't impressed.

Julie Hare had an interesting piece in the Australian, ERA prompts focus on teaching, on the position at Central Queensland University. There nearly one third of academic staff have accepted non-research teaching positions in just a five-week period.

I am recording the piece because I want to do some more analysis of ERA. There are some things I just don't understand about the way ERA works.
