A complicated day

For reasons that I won't bore you with, the day just finished proved to be a complicated day. I really don't feel like writing anything today, However, just for a teaser that had nothing to do with the day's events, I include the following.

The Thunderbolt Mystery Movie Trailer from Evolution Studios on Vimeo. More on that later.

So, come on then: was he your great uncle, or a long lost second cousin?

Actually I found reading about Mary Ann Bugg much more interesting; lost count of the kids (10,11?) plus the varied life she led.

Meanwhile, over on Thunderbolt's wiki entry, there is mention of a Monckton, and a Balls. So I'm simply saying I will read your musings with some scepticism, and hope you don't make a complete hash of it.

Whatever 'it' is, that has tweaked your fancy ;)

ps here in the Valley there is an annual silent film evening, complete with piano. A popular night out; and some bushrangers have been seen.

Neither great uncle nor a long lost second cousin, although a great grandfather did sign the document congratulating Constable Walker. Several members of my family featured as extras in the movie. Plus my grandfather's horse, although he had a starring role!

That's "brush with fame" stuff! Good for you - although pity he was just a bushranger.

I am especially proud of the horse, although Dad wasn't bad as foreman of the jury who convicted Ward.
